The official guide to playing ChronoCards and other important information.

Gameplay Rules

  • The goal is to place all cards from your hand onto the timeline in the correct chronological order.
  • Select a card from your hand. Its date will be hidden.
  • Choose an empty slot on the timeline where you believe the card belongs based on its historical fact.
  • Correct Placement: The card is added to the timeline, and your score increases.
  • Incorrect Placement (Single Player): The card is placed for you, but you draw a penalty card from the deck.
  • Incorrect Placement (Multiplayer): The card is placed for you, your turn ends, and your score decreases.
  • The game ends when a player empties their hand or when the maximum number of rounds is reached.

Scoring

- Correct placements typically award +10 points.

- Incorrect placements typically deduct -5 points.

Disclosures

AI-Generated Content: Some card images and historical facts may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee all information is correct. This game is for educational entertainment purposes.

Data Privacy: We use Firebase Authentication to manage user accounts. For guest users, a random anonymous ID is generated and stored locally on your device. We do not sell your personal data. Game sessions may be recorded anonymously for the purpose of improving the game.
